Nueva Zelanda
El 1 de julio de 2013 entró en vigor Web Accessibility Standard 1.0.
Este estándar define los niveles mínimos de accesibilidad web que deben cumplir todos los departamentos
dependientes del estado, ofrezcan o no ofrezcan un servicio público
(New Zealand's State sector).
El estándar se basa en WCAG 2.0 y establece que se debe lograr el nivel AA,
excepto en una serie de excepciones.
Esta es quizás la legislación elaborada con un "mejor sentido común", ya que establece unos plazos de implementación
incrementales que finalizan el 1 de julio de 2014, cuando todas las páginas web deben ser accesibles:
